Harold is the founder and president of Lowe fs. For more than 45 years he has been advising individuals, families and business owners about financial decisions. Working side by side with David, Jennifer and Greg, Harold oversees client relationships, financial and investment planning. His forty plus years of experience have included both challenging and extraordinary times such as the market crashes of 1987 and the early 2000's, the 2008 turmoil as well as the market boom of the 1990's.

Harold holds holds insurance licenses for life and health insurance in Maryland and several other states. The AEP (Accredited Estate Planner) is a designation also held by Harold. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner® designation in 1983.

After graduating University of Maryland College Park in 1964 he began his career with Sun Life of Canada helping clients with their insurance needs. Sixteen years later he and two colleagues founded an independent financial planning company which evolved into the founding of Lowe & Associates Financial Services, Ltd. in 1994, the firm now known as Lowe fs.

He is a member of various professional organizations including the Financial Planning Association.

Harold lives in Sandy Spring with his wife Judith. He attends Oakdale Emory United Methodist Church in Olney, MD. Music has always been an important part of his life. In addition to time spent enjoying his nine grandchildren, Harold also plays clarinet in the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra as well as tenor saxophone and clarinet in the Swing Time Big Band, an 18 piece swing band.
